Here are the upcoming events that we mentioned:

(1) Wednesday, December 19 (We kept on saying 16th, but we really meant 19th!). Film screening of “Busong”, an award-winning movie set in Palawan. Taking place at the Rio Theatre on Commercial Drive,  from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are $13 for pre-sale or $15 at the door.
(2) Friday, December 21. A free art show by Filipino-Canadian artists, taking place inside the Liu Institute at UBC. Starts at 7 pm. More details to follow.
(3) Thursday, January 17. Professionals conference at UBC. More details to follow.
